They feature completely enclosed construction, low power consumption, and excellent unit-to-unit performance consistency. They are well-suited to variable position applications, require 40% less input power than competitive units, and are field-proven to provide life of 100+ million cycles.
The BTA Series design eliminates the axial travel often associated with conventional rotary actuators, eliminating the loading on associated mechanical linkages. It also reduces the number of moving parts and the associated wear. BTA Series actuators are self-contained in industry standard sizes for easy mounting and interchangeability. They require no adjustment or maintenance over their entire life of the product. These actuators are available in five standard sizes, and can be expanded into value added packages to meet specific user application requirements.
The BTA Series actuators are an ideal solution in applications that require reliable, low hysteresis operation with a good torque profile. By using simple pulse width modulation (PWM) to control coil current, the BTA allows open or closed loop velocity and position control. This is ideal for silent, shock-free actuation applications.
